Vera Wang was raised in New York City, where she went to a highly prestigious school, called Chapin. She later went to Sarah Lawrence College and the Sorbonne. She grew up around the world of fashion where designer clothes and top notch dresses are essential items. She made her way to the top and developed mastery to the craft of fashion. It can be said that Vera Wang was destined to be a fashion guru, as her mother would constantly take her on trips to Paris to go to different fashion shows because of her own personal interest in them.In addition to all this, Vera Wang also competed in international figure skating competitions.
